Cleveland to Silsbee, TX

Today was a new route on the Southern Tier scouted out by our leader from the first half of the trip, Michele. Talk about flat! We are almost in Louisiana and the roads really show it. We also had wonderful pavement. It was so smooth that it was like they paved the roads yesterday.

Today I road with Nancy from Vermont. We both enjoy the quiet along the way but are near to each other in case there is a problem. Nancy makes a very good riding companion for me. We plan to ride together again tomorrow. Nancy said it isgood to have someone to ride with today or she might have fallen to sleep on the smooth flat roads!

Love your photos! The OATS sign is precious!
Glad you had smooth flat pavement....nothing better!
(And a nice quiet friend to ride with...who could ask for more!) :-)
